Objectives In order to assess the vitality of shipborne equipment consists of important components of a warship system under the action of an anti-ship missile implosion load, this paper propose a response failure analysis method.
Methods The shock response of a typical hull structure subjected to an internal explosion is numerically simulated, and the shock response spectrum is calculated to determine the impact environment of the location of the shipborne equipment.
Results Through the shock response spectrum of the typical position, the shock response parameters of shipborne equipment in different positions and at different installation frequencies are obtained, and a failure probability model is established through comparison with the shock design value, thereby forming a shock response failure analysis method for shipborne equipment.
Conclusions The method proposed in this paper allows the calculation of the failure probability of typical shipborne equipment, and the results can provide references for the damage assessment and failure analysis of shipborne equipment under implosion load.
